Free Paris Hilton?

I haven’t written on wordpress all this year–but I felt that I needed to show how outrageous this is.

Apparently Paris Hilton wants to be pardoned–more like excused from her jail sentence of 45 days something which she calls an ‘injustice’ and has urged fans and supporters everywhere to sign the petition so that she may be pardoned…

The petition is addressed to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

…she put it in her MySpace blog…free Paris–why?–what injustice is it that she is being sentenced for having driven intoxicated?

In her ‘free Paris’ she is alluding to Kevin Mitnick who was held unjustly in prison four and a half years before his trial–eight months which were in solitary confinement.

She dares to allude to Kevin Mitnick–free Paris–I think not.

As The Superficial said, she can’t even spell.

Reading some of the comments in her plea for people to sign her petition–some of the reasonings of her fans/supporters is hilarious.

That however is just the tip of the iceberg–the petition is the one that is hilarious.

Read this:

“She provides hope for young people all over the U.S. and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives.”

What? Hope? …of what? The world–beauty? My life is mundane–what in the world.

Hold on it gets even better…

“Hilton is notable for her leading roles on the FOX reality series The Simple Life and in the remake of the Vincent Price horror classic ‘House of Wax’.”

Hilton is ‘notable’ for that…hahaha, I think not–now the petition is lying. She is not notable for that. She is notable because of that one sex tape.

“In addition to her work as an actress, she has achieved some recognition as a model, celebrity spokesperson, singer, and writer.”

What? Being in Dr. Seuss is work as an actress–she had a cameo appearance…

Model? Uh, no. Celebrity spokesperson of what? Singer–heh I think the only recognition she got was because of Banksy and Danger Mouse. Writer? She can write? Wow…

“We, the American public who support Paris, are shocked, dismayed and appalled by how Paris has been the person to be used as an example that Drunk Driving is wrong. We do not support drunk driving or DUI charges. Paris should have been sober. But she shouldn’t go to jail, either.”

“We do not support drunk driving or DUI charges.” Who wrote this? They don’t support DUI charges? These people are shocked, dismayed, and appalled that she being used as an example that drunk driving is wrong–wow, these people get paid to do that–or they do this just because?

“Paris should have been sober. But she shouldn’t go to jail, either.”

Hahahaha, she shouldn’t go to jail either–oh, that’s a great argument.

“Please allow her to her return to her career and life.”

She has a career? Wow, this is news for me–what does she do? Nothing? Oh, wow I didn’t know that was a career. How much does that pay? Nothing? Oh, okay.

Here’s the last, er, sentence or whatever in the world this is…

“Please sign to tell The Honorable Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of the State of California, to think about the welfare of this young woman who has made a mortal error and deserves a second chance like so many others in our great nation have been served with after a mistake they have made . If the late Former President Gerald Ford could find it in his heart to pardon the late Former President Richard Nixon after his mistake(s), we undeniably support Paris Hilton being pardoned for her honest mistake as well, and we hope and expect The Governor will understand and grant this unusual but important request in good faith to Ms. Paris Whitney Hilton.”

Wow if you could read that wow–whoever wrote this needs to go back to school–that was a very long run-on whatever–that just hurt me putting it here.

What I think is just hilarious is that they’re comparing Paris Hilton with Richard Nixon–with Nixon!

That has got to be one of the worst if not the worst analogy ever.

DUI and Watergate–oh yeah that’s a great comparison as is Hilton and Nixon.

“…we hope and expect The Governor will understand and grant this unusual but important request in good faith to Ms. Paris Whitney Hilton.”

Expect? Wow, “unusual” you bet it’s unusual–petitioning the governor to get ‘pardoned’ for DUI…yeah that’s like beyond “unusual”…you’d expect her to be like on death row or something the way these people are pleading. No, this isn’t pleading…this is more like…well…you get it.

This is important…uh-huh.

If Arnold Schwarzenegger signed this or anything of this sort he is most definitely unfit for office–if he grants this he should resign.
